How do you overcome laziness?
I’ll be honest with you all, I’m a lazy-a** f*ck. Thing is, I get pretty good grades (As and Bs) but the day before I have a test, I don’t study until last minute. I procrastinate a lot too; like I’ll start studying for my AP History test at around 11 PM until 3 AM…
I’m kind of scared that this laziness problem is going to affect me in the future, because I won’t have a well-developed work ethic…how do I overcome my laziness problem?
Be lazy and study
Were all lazy bro but we choose to get off our f*c*king lazy a**es
Haha, story of my life. Ironically, i am supposed to be studying for my 4 midterm exams for next week but somehow i ended up on here…lol. but yeah, haha…just the fact that you want it to change is huge. Thats why i am trying to study now…cause i realized i needed to have better study habits so i am trying to make it happen, one test at a time. and thats all you can do
Set goals for yourself that really mean something to you. Think about what you want to do with your life and the steps it will take to get there. You are the only one who can solve this problem. It’s amazing how good you feel about things when you just get them done and over with. Then your time is free to do whatever makes you happy.
nothing wrong with being lazy.
I used to be the same way as you. When I was in high school, I was a huge slacker- I always got really good grades and went through several honors classes, but I usually got by with doing as little as I possibly could. I would just slap all of my work together and hope that it was good enough. When I hit college, I found out for myself that if I continued to slack off like that, I was not going to get very far. The best advice I can give you is to force yourself to do your work. If there’s something you know you need to do, then do it. Don’t allow yourself to procrastinate on something you consider important. Remember, most of the time in life, you have to do things you don’t want to do. You have to take everything you do seriously in order to be successful. The only one who can change your attitude is yourself.
